LIFE IN COLLEGE
Assalamualaikum and hi everyone ! 😊
I'm back with my new post in this blessed month. I'm really sorry for missing in action because I was busy with a lot of assignments during my previous semester. Now, I'm in semester break and next week, I will be in semester five. Yay, another four semesters! Oh and before that, Ramadhan Kareem to all Muslim in this world 😇
Without further ado, I will share with you all about my life in college as my everyday routine except during weekends. As everyone knows, I'm studying at Unitar International University that located in Kelana Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia and doing my bachelor's degree in English. However, some of you do not know about my previous college except if you've already read my first entry here, My Big Day . Before I move to the main topic, I will share the comparison between my previous and current college. My previous college was International Islamic University College Selangor (KUIS), Selangor, Malaysia and did my diploma in TESL. The main comparison between both of them is the surrounding. The surrounding is totally different because KUIS was full of Islamic elements compared to Unitar. But, do not judge a book by its cover. I do love studying at Unitar because the surrounding like a lot of people come from different race, religions and countries make me feel enjoy studying at there. Every person has their own perception towards their college based on their experience, right?
Let's focus on my life in my current college. As a student, I'm pretty sure that you will always busy with tons of assignments and the final exam. Compared to my first until third semester, the fourth one such a very busy life because I took 6 subjects that really heavy to me in that semester but Alhamdulillah, I can survive. Why am I said they were heavy to me? Because the subjects like organized the events and performed the theater and drama need a lot of commitments. It was really tired, I swear to God but to be honest, I really enjoyed it. Of course, I do not have enough time to rest and sleep like other students but I know we will get the rewards for our efforts and sacrifice. Not just contribute everything in assignments but also, I joined some events in my hostel because I can take a lot of pics at there. Other than that, I joined the club in my college like Unitar Muslim Society, Sweet Potato (in theater part) and Unitar Chess Club. Yes, we do not just focus on our academic but also, we need to be an active student. Okay now, I will share some pictures of myself (one picture with my group mates) that related to assignments and events.

And last, I do love this Pajamas Party because of their photo booth 😍
Apart from that, I also can survive my life at my current college even though there are some small matters that related to friendship and assignments. I do not care about them even sometimes I feel like I want to shout at them but I do not want to do that because they are not important in my life. I'm just thankful to God for sending me some good friends and beloved family that always being there for me through thick and thin. So, my advice here is to be careful when choosing friends or group mates and do not trust people easily.
Last but not least, I do not use the money too much during my student life. I know it is not easy to survive at there especially when far away from parents. But still, I need to make a budget for my daily routine at college. The maximum I will spend is RM20 per day. I think this amount is enough for me because I do not take breakfast and dinner (except if I do not take lunch, I will take my dinner). We also need to save money for buy things that we need.
Okay, that's all for today. I hope you will enjoy reading my life in college. I would like to highlight here, if you get an opportunity to further your study at different level and place, just go because you can gain a lot of new experiences.
Have a blessed Ramadhan and see you in the next post, soon ! 💖
Lots of love,
Mirae 💋
