AMIRAH NABILAH

Assalamualaikum and hello, everyone! 🌸

How are you? It's been a long time since my last post on 30th January 2018. I'm sorry for not posting anything in my blog because I was busy with my final year. But hey, I have a happy news that I would like to share with you. This upcoming semester will be my final semester before #roadtointership. Yay! Oh, let's focus on our post today.

Before that, SALAM RAMADHAN to all Muslims in the world :) I would like to share a recipe that you can cook for your iftar as I did yesterday. It's just a simple roasted chicken recipe. Easy and simple to cook!

INGREDIENTS :

  • A half chicken
  • 6 small onions (chopped small)
  • 3 garlic (chopped small)
  • 1 big onion (chopped small)
  • Oyster sauce
  • Habhal's Sweet Soy Bean Sauce
  • Aji-Shio Flavoured Black Pepper
  • Aji-Shio Flavoured White Pepper
  • 2 potatoes
  • Coarse sugar
  • Butter

INSTRUCTIONS :

  1. Place all the onions and garlic into a blender and blend them. After that, put them into a big basin.
  2. Pour the oyster sauce, Habhal's Sweet Soy Bean Sauce, Aji-Shio Flavoured Black & White Pepper and coarse sugar into the same big basin.
  3. Put a half chicken that has been cleaned into the big basin that has all the ingredients.
  4. Rub all the ingredients over the chicken.
  5. Place the chicken in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. While waiting for the chicken, dice the potatoes into big cubes.
  7. Pour the butter into a roasting pan.
  8. Place the chicken in the roasting pan and arrange the cubes of potatoes around the chicken.

    Before :)

  9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Roast the chicken for 1 hour.
  10. Now, serve the roasted chicken with white rice (if needed).

After :)

Simple and easy, right? So, you can try this meal for your iftar ! :)

Thanks for reading and have a nice day ! 🌸

Assalamualaikum and hi, everyone ! 😊

Have you read my previous post : ASSALAMUALAIKUM DUBAI ? I have already mentioned there that I went to United Arab Emirates so today I would like to share my trip to the second and last place which was Abu Dhabi. Before we performed our Umrah, we went to Abu Dhabi for 2 days and 1 night. Oh and before that, don't forget to watch my second vlog on my YouTube channel : UAE VLOG : ASSALAMUALAIKUM ABU DHABI.

Of course, there will be a lot of pictures that I will upload in this post 😋

We went to Abu Dhabi from Dubai by bus. It was such a long journey but I really enjoyed it. Abu Dhabi is different from Dubai. Dubai is a capital city of United Arab Emirates and a lot of high buildings meanwhile Abu Dhabi is more to the rural area but there is also a town and some high buildings there. If you want to breathe the fresh air and feel the calm atmosphere, you can come to Abu Dhabi.

DAY 1

We arrived at Abu Dhabi at 2 pm if I'm not mistaken. The first place that we visited was Al Jazira Club. We took our lunch at there before we visited the stadium inside there, Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium.

My lunch :) I love the foods !

After lunch, we went to our second place which was Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. It is the most beautiful mosque in the world. We went there to perform our solah. Also, we can see the beautiful sunset outside the mosque. It's not just outside but also, inside the mosque is really beautiful.

Ignore my kind of 'selekeh' shawl hahaha

After praying, we went to our hotel for resting and dinner. At night, we were not going to anywhere because we needed to rest before going to Madinah on the next day.

DAY 2

Day 2 was my last day in Abu Dhabi and United Arab Emirates. It's really sad to leave United Arab Emirates because I enjoyed travel at there. As usual, we woke up earlier because we needed to tidy up our clothes and the room before we check out of the hotel.

The first place that we visited on Day 2 was Dates Market. There are a lot of dates inside there. I forgot to take pictures and videos at there.

Outside Dates Market
After that, we went to the second place which was the beach. I don't know its name but honestly, I love the view at there. I love the natural lighting at there hehehe.

Next, we went to the third place which was Herritage Village. It is same as Dubai Museum but it is larger and a lot of old buildings inside there. Oh, there is a sea inside there !

Sun-kissed again ! 😘

Before we went to Madinah, we were going to our last place which was Ferrari World inside Yas Mall. Of course, we need to pay the ticket to go inside Ferrari World but it is too expensive. So that, we just walked outside Ferrari World. Even it's just outside, but still, we could see a collection of Ferrari. After seeing those Ferrari, we walked inside Yas Mall while waiting for the bus.

It's not mine but my adik's hehehe

Alright. That's all about my journey in Abu Dhabi. After that, we went to Madinah and Makkah to perform our Umrah. Although it was tiring journey, I really enjoyed my vacation at there. I got a lot of experiences at there. I hope I can travel to other countries soon, inshaAllah :) We should travel to other countries even once in our life to learn something new like their culture and gain new experience. Here is a quote about that : "Once a year, go someplace you've never been before" - Dalai Lama. In addition, travel is not just you go abroad or anywhere by plane but you can go somewhere out of your town by car too.

Oh ya, I will go back to my reality ; student's life, tons of assignments and busy days on this Sunday. I will think the next topic to write in my new post soon when I have a free time or during my semester break as usual.

Thanks for reading and have a nice day! 🌸
