AMIRAH NABILAH

Assalamualaikum , ì•ˆë…•하세요 and hello earthlings! 🌸

Wow, it's been a long time since my last post in March 2019. I miss my blog so much. I'm sorry for missing in action in blog world because I am busy with my work. But hey, now Amirah Nabilah is back. I will update more contents on my blog soon, inshaAllah. Oh forget to ask, how are you? I hope all of you are in the pink of health. Don't forget to drink a lot of water and wear mask if you're not feeling well.

Back to my post tonight (my FIRST ENTRY in 2020), it's all about my 2nd big day which is my convocation in 2019. I don't know how to express my feelings at that time but I was very happy. After 3 years of my bachelor's degree journey, finally I was graduated.

On 16th November 2019, I was graduated from UNITAR International University with a Bachelor of English (hons.) in TESOL. Such a long journey with various kinds of challenges over 3 years. Alhamdulillah I did it! Honestly, that course is not easy as ABC like people claim it. All the courses are tough and hard but if you enjoy learning new things in your course, you will get what you have learnt. Of course, you will apply it into your work life. Same goes to me, I learnt a lot of things during my course especially when it comes to teaching.

Let me show you my convocation pictures, ehek! 😋

2 days before my convocation ceremony. Can I consider this as my pre-convo picture? Haha jk!

Last but not least, here is my alone picture before I entered the hall 🌹

After all, I would like to say thank you to everyone who has helped me from beginning until the end of my degree life 💖 I appreciate people who come into my life because I learned a lot of things from them and yes, I appreciate the beautiful moments at UNITAR. Kamsahamnida, everyone!

That's all for tonight. To those who are struggling to finish your degree or diploma journey, please don't give up although you face big challenges or drama in your life. To those who are struggling to get the job, don’t give up to send resume and always pray. My favourite quote is “NEVER GIVE UP TO ACHIEVE YOUR BIG DREAMS”.

Thank you so much for reading 🌹

Assalamualaikum and hello, everyone! 🌹

How are you? Wow, it's been a long time since my last post about recipe. I'm sorry for not posting anything because I was busy with my internship. But hey, I have a happy news that I think I should share with you. I have completed my bachelor's studies! Now, I am seeking a job and pray the best for me, okay? :)

Alright let's focus on my post tonight. I'm gonna share my skincare routine in details since I have shared the pictures on my Instagram story. If you followed me on Instagram, you would see my post there and I've already highlight them. Before that, I'm sorry for not sharing one by one pictures of the products because I forgot to take it. I hope you can see the picture below clearly. Oh and you can buy all of them at Watson, Guardian, Elianto, Etude House and Innisfree.

My skin type is dry. I also have face problems like other girls such as small pimples due to some factors, whitehead and blackhead. Yes, nobody is perfect but let's try and error the products until we find the best one! I am kind of girl who love to change my skincare products because as I said just now, we need to try and error. I use these skincare products since last year and of course, it takes time to recover all the face problems. These are not "timbang kilo" products that can recover the face problems within 3 days but at the end, you will get the bad result.

Let's start with My Morning Skincare Routine 🌞

1) Cleanser :
I cleanse my face every day after I wake up. I use Aiken Tea Tree Oil Facial Cleanser that focuses on acne and oil control. Highly recommended if you have acne but it takes time to recover.

2) Toner :
I wear toner every day after I cleanse my face. I use Safi Rania Gold Toner that makes my face look fresh in the morning. Don't forget to use this toner with facial cotton pads.

3) Serum :
I use serum after wearing toner. Honestly, this is my first serum because I couldn't find the best serum. I use Safi Rania Gold Serum and it takes away the dull look.

4) Face Conditioning :
I use face conditioning spray after wearing serum. Actually, I got this ETUDE HOUSE Face Conditioning Fixer Spray after I won their birthday contest (Lucky me!). It makes my skin smooth and soft. I love the smell! Highly recommended.

5) Moisturizer :
I wear moisturizer after using face conditioning spray. I have 2 moisturizer products but I do not wear them in one time. If I wanna go out, I will wear Olay Total Effect 7 in One Day Cream SPF 15 and it makes my skin more smooth and soft. I love the texture! Highly recommended. Besides that, if I just stay at home, I will wear Rosken Skin Repair Dry Skin Lotion (Normal to Dry Skin) and it helps to make my skin smooth. I bought after I read good reviews at Twitter.

6) Sunscreen :
I wear sunscreen before applying makeup. I use Biore UV Aqua Rich Whitening Essence SPF50+ and it gives a good protection, prevent sunburn and fight dark spot on face. This is my last step for morning skincare routine.

My Night Skincare Routine 🌜

1) Makeup Remover :
Before I cleanse my face, I will remove my makeup to make sure there is no dirt on my face. I use Garnier Skin Micellar Water (pink) and it's really remove all my makeup although I use waterproof products.

2) Cleanser :
I cleanse my face after I remove my makeup at night. I use the same cleanser as in the morning.

3) Scrub :
I exfoliate my face twice per week after I cleanse my face. I use St Ives Blackhead Clearing Green Tea Scrub that focuses on blackhead and whitehead. Highly recommended!

4) Facial Mask :
I wear facial mask before moisturizer. I use Innisfree It's Real Squeeze Mask (Rose) that makes my skin soft. If you want to buy Innisfree sheet mask, you should find which one that you want to focus more such as brightening, hydrating or smooth. It's really cheap!

5) Moisturizer :
I wear moisturizer after I finish my night skincare routine. I use products from Elianto which are Pomegranate and Texas Aloe Vera. I feel fresh after wake up in the morning and of course, my skin becomes smooth and soft.

That's all. The most important is never skip your skincare routine especially the basic one (Cleanser - Moisturizer - Sunscreen). I will update if I change my skincare products. For skincare products, it depends on your skin. Read reviews first before buying.

Thank you for reading & have a nice day! 💖

But hey, I have a happy news that I would like to share with you. This upcoming semester will be my final semester before #roadtointership. Yay! Oh, let's focus on our post today.

Before that, SALAM RAMADHAN to all Muslims in the world :) I would like to share a recipe that you can cook for your iftar as I did yesterday. It's just a simple roasted chicken recipe. Easy and simple to cook!

INGREDIENTS :

  • 6 small onions (chopped small)
  • 3 garlic (chopped small)
  • 1 big onion (chopped small)
  • Oyster sauce
  • Habhal's Sweet Soy Bean Sauce
  • Aji-Shio Flavoured Black Pepper
  • Aji-Shio Flavoured White Pepper
  • 2 potatoes
  • Coarse sugar
  • Butter

INSTRUCTIONS :

  1. Place all the onions and garlic into a blender and blend them. After that, put them into a big basin.
  2. Pour the oyster sauce, Habhal's Sweet Soy Bean Sauce, Aji-Shio Flavoured Black & White Pepper and coarse sugar into the same big basin.
  3. Put a half chicken that has been cleaned into the big basin that has all the ingredients.
  4. Rub all the ingredients over the chicken.
  5. Place the chicken in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  6. While waiting for the chicken, dice the potatoes into big cubes.
  7. Pour the butter into a roasting pan.
  8. Place the chicken in the roasting pan and arrange the cubes of potatoes around the chicken.

    Before :)

  9. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Roast the chicken for 1 hour.
  10. Now, serve the roasted chicken with white rice (if needed).

After :)

Simple and easy, right? So, you can try this meal for your iftar ! :)
